Vocabulary Acquisition in Second Language

Abstract
This article aims at compiling and presenting some results of recent studies about strategies of foreign language
teaching, focusing on vocabulary acquisition from data reported in studies by several authors. After carefully
considering the outcomes presented by researchers, it was organized a list of learning strategies that were tested
by them as well as the results obtained.
