Introduction
A. An important issue that need to be solved Criminal law imposes punishment for those who engage in prohibited conducts by law. In general, the conduct is mainly done to achieve desirable goal, result or outcome. Not always the result is possible for several factors not related to the actor desire and actions. This is why the doctrine of attempted criminal liability has been created, as a powerful tool to protect society from dangerous act and dangerous actors. Professor Chiesa in his textbook of Substantive Criminal Law, describes these individuals as persons who try but fail in achieving the result2.
