Abstract
We live in a very complicated world characterised by the rapid pace of technological changes, the ever changing demand of skillsets in the workforce, the democratisation of learning etc. Given this backdrop, it is essentialfor educators and managers in the Myanmar education system to re-assess the need to recalibrate the system.In preparing for the future generation of learners in Myanmar schools, MCTA is a renewed institution, looking backward and forward, remembering the pain and loss of the past educational system and resolving to co-create a brighter future for all Myanmar people. In today’s pedagogical approaches, engaging students in the learning process has long been central to the mission and purpose of education. It enhances their attention and focus, inspires them to have higher-level critical thinking skills and consequently promotes purposeful learning experiences. In recent years, however, there has been a renewed focus on the role of education can play in preparing students for productive lives as citizens.
